Vicissitudes of the life course
Walking in the woods today, witnessing many lives aging in time, I found myself thinking that life centered design can’t just be a matter of the species we pay attention to, whether humans alone or non-human others; it’s also the course of life itself, the growing and aging, the flourishing and decay, design that can take seriously the vicissitudes of the life course, the different possibilities but also the trials that emerge at different points in time, different stages of life.
