  I had the honor of presenting at a round table on “Climate Change, Land Governance, and Health” at Casa de Oswaldo Cruz (COC) in Rio de Janeiro this week. COC is the humanities branch of Fiocruz, a Brazilian bioscientific institution and global leader in public health innovation. Check out this cool short film about the discovery of Chagas disease–an insect borne illness–at Fiocruz in 1909!
