Call for Panelists: Antidotes to Toxicity
7th Annual JHU Sustainability Symposium | April 8, 2026
The Ecological Design Collective is seeking panelists for our session, “Antidotes to Toxicity” at this year’s JHU Sustainability Symposium.
This panel will explore strategies and approaches to addressing toxicity in our environments, systems, and communities, from remediation technologies and safer material design to policy interventions and community-centered solutions. If interested, please send a short description of your contribution to the panel to EDC by Jan 21st: collective@ecodesigncollective.org.

The Sustainability Leadership Council is pleased to announce that we are seeking submissions for the 7th Annual JHU Sustainability Symposium. The event, which will be held April 8, 2026, will feature dialogue on important sustainability topics through cross-disciplinary presentations, panel discussions, research posters, and tabling opportunities. All interested presenters should submit a short description of your proposed presentation, panel session, or poster topic by Monday, January 26, 2026. All JHU faculty, students, and staff are invited to submit presentation ideas. Suggested topics include:

- Advancing a Net-Zero Future
- Climate Resilience & Adaptation
- Community Engagement
- Equity & Environmental Justice
- Healthcare Sustainability
- Low-Carbon Transportation & Mobility
