This one-hour participatory session will begin with a brief introduction to Jacobs and a short video, followed by interactive activities focused on Patterson Park. Together, we’ll map active and quieter edges of the park, discuss where we see vitality and safety, and reflect on what Jacobs might celebrate — or question — if she visited today.

The Ecological Design Collective’s mission — that good design demands ecological sensibility, responsiveness to complexity, and shared agency — resonates deeply with the spirit of this gathering.
