Which caretaking commitments would you like to be involved with in the coming year? (please choose no more than two)

• Operations. Overseeing short-term and mid-term planning; ensuring that necessary meetings are scheduled and deadlines are kept; meeting weekly with graduate student fellows; keeping up with curators and external partners)
• Communications. Overseeing online content on the platform; managing the Litter publication space; proofing and finalizing newsletters and other EDC communications and announcements; pulling together theme and programming statements and other key communications; this is essentially an editorial responsibility.
• Development. Meeting with others interested in the collective; leading the recruitment and onboarding of new curators, members, and allied organizations; identifying new grant opportunities and possible project collaborations; overseeing long-term planning for the growth and sustainability of the collective.
• Events. Overseeing our events calendar; coordinating event planning; proofing event notices and posters; helping with event logistics and materials; troubleshooting any event issues that arise; serving as event host or coordinator when necessary.
• Finances. Overseeing the budget and making budget allocations and decisions; tracking expenses and receipts; submitting invoices and requests for reimbursement; handling any financial reports as needed; working with our fiscal sponsor, Inquiring Systems Inc, as well as the budget specialist at JHU.
• Infrastructure. Overseeing the EDC online platform; tracking usage patterns and emerging issues to address; managing any necessary maintenance and updates on an ongoing basis; working with our developers on new features and designs; troubleshooting technical problems as they arise.
