We will focus on three questions:
In the realm of climate policy, what was expected and unexpected in the first 100 days? Zeldin is restructuring the EPA, while DOGE is remaking DOE and Interior. Do they differ in their basic approach? How consequential is this restructuring for policy?
How do the Administration’s actions so far — including tariffs and funding cuts — impact the development of the renewable energy sector?
How should we understand the corporate retreat from ESG? Is this a temporary pullback or is climate policy now embroiled in a deeper and longer-lasting cultural war?
