Baltimore folks! We’ll be launching my new book, Something Between Us, at Red Emma’s Bookstore in Baltimore next Tuesday, May 27th. The book argues that our political and social impasses in the United States are a consequence of the everyday walls and divides that Americans have come to live with and take for granted, at home and on the road, for the body and the mind. I also try to show how movements for mutual aid and solidarity can break through these barriers and build a different kind of collective life in the United States. I’ll be talking about the book with investigative journalist Sonia Shah, author most recently of The Next Great Migration. Please join us!
