BTT presents Community Conversation: Environmental Justice in Baltimore

Join us for a sit-down conversation on environmental justice between Baltimore Tree Trust Communications and Outreach Director Ryan Alston and Dr. Amanda Phillips de Lucas, Executive Director of the Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance. The discussion will be centered on historical examples of environmental racism in Baltimore and present-day obstacles to achieving environmental equality. With extensive knowledge gained from performing research on green infrastructure projects in Baltimore, Dr. Phillips de Lucas will also speak to the importance of procedural justice and systems of maintenance when implementing green infrastructure projects.
