Community Vision Co-Design Seminar: Reimagining Place Values

The Morgan State University School of Architecture and Planning (SAP) is hosting a seminar at BluePrint Cafe (#blue.print.cafe) that brings together students and Better Waverly residents. This gathering space allows everyone to connect over coffee in a relaxed atmosphere, fostering meaningful dialogue about the neighborhood’s future. By establishing this common ground, we begin to understand what the community truly values.
Our approach combines practical fieldwork, interactive design workshops, and partnerships with local stakeholders. Together, participants will explore and shape their vision for Better Waverly’s development. The seminar serves as a learning laboratory where students and residents alike will discover effective strategies for community revitalization and collaborative planning, working together to create a shared roadmap for the neighborhood’s future.
