Calling all music lovers and friends of the environment who support clean water!
I am extending a personal invitation to an environmentally-themed musical delight in the greater Baltimore area this Sunday: “Life in Full Bloom: A Concert Reconnecting with the Natural World” a benefit concert for Blue Water Baltimore held in the Cylburn Arboretum’s beautiful Vollmer Center. “Life in Full Bloom” features pieces by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Strauss, Gershwin, and Rachmaninoff! By presenting music with natural themes, the musicians seek to encourage listeners to reflect, re-evaluate, and rekindle our personal relationships with the natural world. Artists include professional lyric soprano Grace Touhill, pianist Yangwei Xu, and featured flutist Giorgio Consolati, the newly appointed principal flutist of the York Symphony Orchestra.
How can you help?
Attend this wonderful local event! Even if you cannot attend in person, please spread the word and purchase a ticket on the Blue Water Baltimore site to support the musicians and clean water initiatives! Tickets are on sale NOW and discounted if purchased online: $20 general admission, $15 students. Remaining tickets may be purchased at the door.
