Join us for a transformative gathering that explores the pioneering Regenerating Relational Ecologies Global Action Research Initiative. This event brings together community leaders, regenerative practitioners, researchers, educators, and ecological stewards to engage in a shared inquiry into the resilience of living systems through relational and regenerative practices.
Rooted in the relational energetics framework of the Institute of Relational Being, the initiative integrates regenerative land custodianship, bioregional collaboration, and community-centered engagement to address ecological degradation, social fragmentation, and cultural disconnection. Participants will discover how Relational Resource Departments (RRDs) are being co-created within schools, companies, municipalities, and land-based communities as decentralized hubs for regenerative planning and action.
The forum will showcase living case studies and participatory methodologies that emphasize co-design, shared governance, and place-based transformation. Sessions will highlight practices such as ecological literacy, storytelling, biomimicry, and qualitative metrics for evaluating soil health, biodiversity, and relational wellbeing.
This event is not only a platform for knowledge exchange but a call to action: to cultivate relational flourishing, equity, and ecological reciprocity across diverse contexts. Together, we will imagine and enact new models of regenerative governance that transcend traditional ESG frameworks, moving toward RREGEN—Regenerative, Relational, Ecological Governance & Emergence Networking.
Hosted in collaboration with the Schumacher Global Network and allied cultural and educational partners, this gathering invites all who are committed to fostering climate resilience, food sovereignty, and cultural renewal through living networks of care.
This event continues the EDC’s 2024-25 itinerary for “Reimagining Land,” which explores ecology, history, and contemporary place-making efforts through experiential and virtual events.

I’m really looking forward to being a part of this and sharing in an active exploration with all who attend. IRB is embarking on a pretty open and porous inquiry here and welcome as many folks into this exploration as we can. Thank you in advance to all who join this call, and those in the future who decide to get involved.
You can get a little better idea of what IRB is up to with all of this by checking out our articles here:
