***This workshop is offered on a pay what you can basis. Here’s what this means:
$0 I require community support to pay for my participation in the workshop
$1-$10 I need partial community support to pay for the workshop
$11-20 I can contribute partially to paying the instructor
$21-25 I can pay the actual value of this workshop
$26-35 I can pay the actual value of the workshop and can also help support community members unable to pay at this time.***

In this workshop, we will work with eco-somatic tools and technologies, such as breath, flow, connection to specific organs and organ meridians of the heart and lung, and ways of connecting to the natural elements in our environment in order to provide support for an embodied, and communally grounded relationship to love and sorrow.

Nov 1 is Samhain, a time traditionally understood to connect us to the dead, a time when “the veil” between life and death is thin. The hours of 3-5 p.m. are connected to the Traditional Chinese element of Metal, and the Lung-Large Intestine meridians, both of which enable the process of letting go to happen in the physical body and the emotional life of the body.

RAINDATE: Sunday, Nov 2

The landscape of Herring Run will provide us with ways of connecting our personal journey to the seasonal changes as we move through fall into winter.

For full and comfortable participation in this workshop, please bring:
–Layers of clothing, depending on weather prediction
–Shoes you don’t mind getting wet or dirty
–Water
–A journal or sketchpad and something to write or draw with

Masks are not required, since we will be outside, but will be provided to accommodate anyone who would prefer masks during closer interaction with others.

Since this workshop has limited space, it is important that you RSVP here: https://partiful.com/e/ejSgzkxH9AQqSbmdHyXJ
