Call for Nominations: NYC Social Amplifier -Empowering Local Leaders for Action
The Creative Climate Communications (C3) Lab is excited to announce that our Social Amplifiers nominations are live. This initiative seeks to uncover and empower individuals (18 and older) within communities who have the potential to lead conversations and actions on climate change—particularly those who may not see themselves as traditional leaders or who are not yet involved in the climate space. During Summer 2025, our Pilot Program will cultivate leadership development training and provide participants with a $200 stipend. We will conduct interviews with all Social Amplifiers (2 hours total) ahead of the training, which will span two days (12 hours total), and include both online and in-person sessions. Selected participants will also attend a two-day workshop during Climate Week (10 hours total). By equipping these individuals with the tools to inspire and mobilize their networks, the Social Amplifiers pilot aims to elevate grassroots environmental justice efforts and spark transformative change for climate justice.
