On behalf of the Jury for the Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy, I invite you to submit nominations for this prestigious global award. A 2025 Laureate will be selected by an esteemed panel of global leaders, scholars and diplomats in environmental law.
We welcome your submission and gratefully request your support in sharing this opportunity with your networks. The Call for Nominations for the Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy is now open through March 17, 2025.
The Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy has a distinguished history since 1979 shaped by progress in the field of environmental law and policy. Recent notable Laureates include Ambassador Rena Lee (Singapore), Kristina Maria Gjerde (USA), Ambassadors Marja Lehto (Finland) and Marie Jacobsson (Sweden), Vanessa Nakate (Uganda) and Professor Wang Xi (China). With your help, we aim to recognize the innovation, skill, and accomplishments of lawyers, diplomats, international civil servants and other advocates who work to create the world environmental order. This annual award provides the setting to highlight the pivotal roles of these worthy individuals and amplify our urgent message of environmental action across the globe.
