Join us for the development of a public artwork!
Join us as we follow the development of a public artwork that focuses on listening to the ecosystem!
Earlier this year on EcoArts artist Asad Raza revealed he has been commissioned to create a permanent art installation on the River Granta in Cambridgeshire opening Summer 2025. The Granta is a rare chalk stream sustaining the habitats for a range of wildlife. Well known for his collaborative approach to projects the artist is partnering with ecologists, microbiologists and architects and now us here at the EDC.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ongoing conversation while the artist is in the process of creation. Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 12pm EST for the first meeting – to talk with the artist about his latest work and get updates on the River Granta project and how you can be a part of it. The series continues on February 11th, April 8th, and June 10th 2025. The series will be hosted by Dr. Kristine Roome, curator of EcoArts.
