Student Champions for Climate Justice
The American Public Health Association’s Center for Climate, Health and Equity advances health equity and environmental justice through climate solutions. Increasing awareness of the health equity impacts of climate change among academic communities is critical to galvanize action for the next generation of public health leaders.
The Center will select five U.S. college or university student groups to hold a campus event to highlight climate change, health and equity during Sept-Oct. 2025.
Please note that a primary person of contact must be selected to submit the application on behalf of the group. This person must be a student and must meet all eligibility requirements described in the Award Description. Student champion awardees will be announced by the end of April 2025.
