We’ll be kicking off our summer meeting schedule with selections from Amitav Ghosh’s The Nutmeg’s Curse: Parables for a Planet in Crisis (2021). I’ll upload the PDFs to our folder when I have them.

We’ll be delving into Naveeda Khan’s new book, River Life and the Upspring of Nature (2023), which looks at the ecology of the Jamuna River, Bangladesh, through the life of the chauras who live and work on its sandbars.
