It was almost like a life-sized dollhouse that invited play and exploration in each room. So many cool ideas here.

I feel like this is a great extension of the Artist Talk from @Jia at the Crow’s Nest brining forward the importance of both womanhood and girlhood and playful exploration as a means to make sense of current conditions, especially in times of ecological grief. Exciting to see how these ideas take shape! 🌻

AdministratorFebruary 16, 2026 at 11:05 am in reply to: Antidotes to Toxicity Project Awards Competition@CrowsNestStaff Hi Alexi – we don’t expect everyone to have a venue for showcasing their work since we are open to accepting work that takes many different forms. It might be reasonable for an artist to propose a show at a local venue (such as Crow’s Nest) that addresses ecological issues, while another might propose a conservation project that takes place in the field. We only ask that awardees document and share how their projects take shape and gather community input along the way using the Antidotes to Toxicity forum on the EDC’s platform. At the end of the award cycle, we plan to convene everyone for a panel at a local venue (TBD). Hope that answers your question. Please let me know if others arise!

Love the idea for using Crow’s Nest as a potential venue for showcasing work to enhance community outreach and dissemination for a proposal! We love the Crow’s Nest and would love to discuss options for partnership & collaboration for this project, as we get further towards working with awardees. I’ll start a message with the members of our team who are working on this. 🌻
