In response to last Spring’s webinar on Designing Cities, responding to spatial and social inequity and injustice, we launch a sequel. The Spring 2023 series intends to critically look at the theory gained through the 2022 event and provide practical input to current urban challenges. The center of this critique is the City and the community: for four Tuesdays (from February 14th till March 7th, 2023), 16 architects from Baltimore (USA) and Rotterdam (The Netherlands), moderated by four international mediators, will, together with the audience, ask and answer “How do architects design spaces for people?” Each of the four roundtables will dynamically explore designs that value infrastructures, cities, public spaces, communities, and individuals.
