For folks in Baltimore: Tickets will be available soon for All Good Things Must Begin! A Climate Change Theatre Action event (www.climatechangetheatreaction.com). Mark your calendars and please join us. This is a great opportunity to meet folks doing work locally and globally related to climate change and related issues.

A recording of the performance and conversation on Dec 5th will also be made available via the Vital Matters website, which will go live this week.

All Good Things Must Begin! Is a Climate Change Theatre Action Event brought to you by Vital Matters. At 5:30, doors will open for “Gifts for a better future” in the gallery, where Ivy Bookshop will be selling books, local artists and crafts people will be selling gifts, and folks from climate and related organizations will have information about ways you can be better informed, and get involved. At 7:00, Baltimore theatre artists, activists, and others are coming together to read 7 plays from 5 countries that will help us connect the dots between what is happening around climate and environmental justice globally and locally. Visual artist Maura Dwyer performs her cranky Wilder than Walls, and Sanahara Ama Chandra provides original music to help us bring our hearts and minds together. After the show, conversation Partners from the UMBC Theatre Department, 350.org, and more, join us to discuss challenges in Baltimore and beyond, as well as some of the good things that have already begun to address them. The climate crisis affects us all, and we need all of us to respond to its challenges. Join us, and find out how you can get involved!

      • Wish I was closer to come to this!

        • Hi Susan! There are CCTA events happening around the country and around the world this fall, so you might be able to go to something in your area. You can start by going to climatechangetheatreaction.com — they tend to only put things up for the current month, and they keep updating the calendar.
