• Certainly! Here’s a more professional version of the introduction:

      Hi EDC Community!

I am excited to introduce myself as one of your new coordinators. I am currently a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University, where I am working on a dissertation in political theory where I suggest deterioration is not inherently negative and that durability can sometimes be dangerous.

Originally from Colorado, I developed a deep appreciation for the environment early on, which has guided much of my academic and professional journey. I have had the privilege of traveling to over 50 countries, each of which has deepened my understanding of ecological challenges and possibilities. For the past four years, I have been living in Baltimore, but I recently relocated to Michigan.

Throughout my life, I have been committed to creating ecological futures, from founding an environmental club in middle school to working at the United Nations on sustainability initiatives at their New York headquarters. I am eager to bring this experience and passion to my role as EDC coordinator.

I look forward to working closely with the EDC community!
