2 years agoPsychology and Design I’ve been thinking a lot about denial as maybe the key psychological state of our age. So much denial about disaster and extinction and how much worse it’s going to get.
Like take banks, which continue to finance new oil and gas exploration. We might say one thing. We might fervently believe it. But our money is doing something very different. As this goofy–but effective!–video puts it, your money is cheating on you. I’ve certainly been in denial about that. And that’s surely by design!
