REMINDER! The EDC Book Club continues on May 29th as we chat with Cornell anthropologist Chloe Ahmann about her new book Futures After Progress: Hope and Doubt in Late Industrial Baltimore. Factory fires, chemical explosions, and aerial pollutants have inexorably shaped South Baltimore into one of the most polluted places in the country. In this powerful and compelling book, Ahmann explores the rise and fall of industrial lifeways on the edge of the city and the uncertainties that linger in their wake.

Baltimore folks, join us on June 4th at 5pm at the Peabody Heights Brewery (401 E 30th St, Baltimore, MD) for our next monthly social. A chance to recharge and connect with like-minded individuals, sharing ideas and strengthening our community. All are welcome!
