I am a mother of two, a multiracial, ultra-marathon runner, and a globetrotter woman architect operating in the field of research, design, and built architecture. My passion for social justice, design and building passive design, and better spaces for citizens drives my academic and professional work.

I am currently based in the DC area, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and Rovereto, Italy combining the profession of architecture and design, community work and nonprofit organizations, passive housing construction and renovation, with the experience of teaching: all complete each other conveying a hands-on approach to my classes while informing my designs with academic research and fresh ideas.

I join EDC in the Fall of 2022 fascinated by the fact that this group’s ambition is to design for the whole ecosystem… everything/one matters and humans is just one part of a more complex, complete, and inclusive masterplan.

I hope that through the work of this collective, we can contribute to providing insights on how to shape this world more inclusively via the collaborative’s efforts of multi-disciplinary groups.
