Happy to share this experience of one of my students.
Summer 2023
Austin Tucker is a student of architecture at Morgan State University. In July 2023, he traveled to Nova Scotia to participate in the “Free Labs,” a series of design-build programs hosted by Dalhousie University’s School of Architecture and Planning.
In these immersive programs, students are encouraged to think beyond conventional architectural practices. The hands-on approach to sustainability, community, and placemaking is described in this reflection.
